For more than 20 years, I have worked with hundreds of people around the world, asking four simple questions of The Work and using other tools and modalities to help folk access their inner wisdom, to find their own true answers and to radiate with brilliance in their new found freedom.
Coach The Work
I've worked with clients using The Work of Byron Katie who have released age-old fears, limiting core beliefs and chronic self-doubt. Free from such limiting beliefs they have amazing breakthroughs. They have gained energy, resolved old relationships, taken bold steps towards long held dreams. Enjoyed new ways of doing business. Discovered who they really are beyond their limiting beliefs, their heart’s wisdom and soul purpose, they radiate with new life, and everything starts to shine.
I use The Work of Byron Katie to address my clients’ whole picture of their lives; any area of distress or problem can be inquired into which can result in all other areas being equally transformed.
Always a student never a teacher
I continue my own inner inquiry and see myself as a perpetual student. I continue to learn from life, from my clients and from my children most of all.
I've had a lifelong desire for learning that enabled me to gain three degrees and become a fully qualified Art psychotherapist ( was registered with the Health Professions Council UK, and a member of the British Association of Art Therapists, now with the British Columbia Association of Professional Art Therapists).
My studies and trainings have given me qualifications and experiences in The Work of Byron Katie©, Simplicity Parenting©, Process Orientated Psychology, mindfulness, Dynamic Self-governance (Sociocracy), Advaita Vedanta, Appreciative Inquiry, Sivananda and Scaravelli inspired Yoga, Family and Systemic Constellations and The Transformation Game™. I am a trained Kaiut Yoga Teacher with my own home yoga studio that I teach out of 4 times a week.
For over 23 years until 2018, I was a long time member of the internationally famous spiritual community of Findhorn in Scotland, in that time I worked running workshops, leading retreats and had over 8 years of working in Human Resources, as known as the Spiritual and Personal Development Department. The experience of community living and working with the staff and guests who came to the community gave me a solid grounding in training, supervision, special care awareness in ways that address both the spiritual and earthly needs of individuals, groups, businesses and organizations.
At Findhorn, I learnt what it means to be in service to others with an open mind to whatever needs to unfold in the moment, whilst also balancing staying in touch with my own processes, triggers and healing.
From Tragedy to Triumph
The Buddhist noble truth that there is suffering in the world, was shown to me when my first born child died. With the grief, transformation, and devastation of losing a child, I was given a path to heal from trauma. By using the tools I now share with others today, I have taken lessons of my son’s death and gained a deeper awareness of life and consciousness itself.
After my son's death, I went on to have two other children and for many years I specialized in working with parents on issues around raising children, I won a scholarship and was the founder of a UK based social enterprise serving parents.
Transformational Programs and Processes
I've been told I have an uncanny ability to see and name what is underlying a stress or problem that someone comes to me with. People have said I have a laser like ability to dive right into the areas that need transformation. In recent years I have studied Internal Family Systems (IFS) and it informs my coaching giving clients another way in which they can connect to their own solutions.
I encourage clients to use visualizations (rather like painting a picture in art therapy) that allows for creativity and insight as they turn around situations and undo past trauma. I'm always curious about the non-verbal body information and what it says about a situation. My years as a yoga teacher given me trust in the wisdom of the body, and it's capacity to store information, trauma and the power of the body to transform and heal. IFS gives a lens of being able to explore how different parts of oneself, even those hidden parts, and healing our relationship to our inner world that helps with addressing their beliefs and emotions in a way that brings clarity and a deeper sense of connection to Self.
And beyond the wide range of skills and tools at my disposal, ultimately I sit with my clients with presence and moment by moment awareness, facilitating you to meet yourself where you are at.
International Work
Over the years I have been invited to many places to present and work such as Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Ireland, London, Kuwait, Greece, Canada, the US and many parts of the England and Scotland. In 2018 I moved with my family to the beautiful west coast of Canada, and have been living on Vancouver Island since then.
I'm happy to be in high demand! I often have a waitlist of clients wishing to work with me. However please do contact me if you are interested in learning more about how we can work together to see if there is space in my diary.
